We have a few changes to the Combined Opening number Schedule:
We are very excited to have another combined Opening number, this year choreographed by Dionne Nash. Finale number TBA
Names for students wishing to enter the combined items are to be submitted by 31st May. – We would really appreciate if you could just let us know your approximate numbers before then so we can allow time for the Choreographer to plan how to structure the rehearsals.
Please email your Student names and ages, also whether they can do Jazz or Tap to: email@example.com
We are taking students from ages 7 and up.
Deposits for the Combined Items are also due with the name lists from each Teacher by the 31st of May.
Teachers are to collect for their School and pay into CSTD account. (reference #Vic Convention Combined rehearsal)
Deposit for the rehearsal is $50 each student- to be paid with form submission by 31st May and will be $120 total. Balance of $70 to paid by the 30th June.
*The performers package includes all 4 rehearsals, choreography, costume hire and entry to the Convention with their performers passes to sit upstairs at the theatre.
Rehearsals will be held at Ministry of Dance and Darebin Arts Centre- More information on exact times and age groups to come. We may not need each age group for the entire day. Further information on rehearsal hours to come.
Rehearsals as follows:
Sunday 28th July – @ Ministry (Alternating times with the ballet workshop age groups)
Sunday 4th August @ Darebin Arts Centre – after Public Performances.
Sunday 18th August TBC
Friday the 30th August – (Convention Day) from 5pm.
*Performers MUST be available for all rehearsals to enter.
Own School Items:
We are now asking for submissions for Schools who wish to perform their own number to be submitted by the 31st of May. (see below form)
Items to be no more than 5 mins in length. Minimal lighting will be provided. There is an option to have a short rehearsal in the afternoon (time permitting).
*If a student is performing in their own School item or collecting a Diploma or Award, the ticket/pass cost is $10 and they will have a seat in the performers seating area. (If they wish to seat in allocated seating with their family, they are free to purchase a separate ticket).
This means each performer in the group will need to purchase a $10 performer pass, which then allows them entry to see the rest of the show. – If they are performimg the combined Opening this ticket is already included in their fee. No need to purchase another.
**Teachers are to collect the money for their performers and pay into the Comdance nominated account. Passes will then be allocated to each performer.
Please submit your interest via the below form by the 31st of May via form below. Video submission may then be required.
