Benjamin Curé

Benjamin Curé was born and raised in Melbourne, training on full scholarships at both The Edge Performers School and the Space Dance and Arts Centre.  In 2015, he founded Lion Heart Dance Company which has since produced multiple seasons of work.

Curé’s performance career has witnessed him work with a diverse range of companies, including Vertical Shadows Dance Company and Opera Australia, in conjunction with reaching the top 100 of So You Think You Can Dance Australia (2014). Curé is an esteemed choreographer with a history of choreographing for music videos, international conferences and industry events. His founding company Lion Heart has produced 8 seasons of work, been commissioned by the City of Boroondara, produced an interactive dance festival, performed at global conferences and has created a space for local and international dancers to train and collaborate on new projects. These achievements are a powerful testament to Curé’s unswerving devotion to his craft. Additionally, Curé has mentored a number of young people through the process of creating their own work and has developed a professional development course to see local artists empowered to succeed.

Curé creates works which are engaging and meaningful. He possesses an attention to detail and an intuitive understanding of his audience.

Luca Dinardo

Talia’s career has spanned across a wide variety of dance genres and media platforms. She is a classical ballerina having worked for companies – The Queensland Ballet, Ballet BC (Quebec), Madboots Dance (NY), Gregory/Dawson Project (San Francisco), Leigh Warren Dancers (Adelaide), Alonzo King LINES Ballet (San Francisco). Performing both classical & contemporary works, her career taken her to Europe, Asia, Canada and the USA.

In 2009 she was the winner of Season 2 ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. She starred in ‘Fame the Musical’s national tour as Iris Kelly.

Throughout the commercial industry she has worked for the likes of Tabitha & Napoleon, Sonya Tayeh, ARIA’s, AACTA’s, X Factor, Australia’s Got Talent, & various music artists. Currently, she freelances as a soloist and pas de deux artist with performances across the international corporate scene. Talia recently performed on the runway for international fashion label BALMAIN.

Her work for Sony Music can be seen in choreography, movement direction and video editing for Timomatic & Pusha T music video ‘Delilah’, and Talia can be seen in lead acting roles for Timomatic ‘Parachute’, The Veronicas ‘You Ruin Me’, and Van-ahn Nguyen’s Album ‘Peaceful Piano Essentials’. Talia landed the cover of Dance Australia, advertising campaign and face of Bloch ‘Heritage’ pointe shoe & guest performances for the Australian Dance Awards, So You Think You Can Dance US, & the World Dance Congress.

In her training she achieved her A.R.A.D Solo Seal and was a part of The Genée International Ballet Competition (now The Fonteyn) and The Prix de Lausanne.

Talia is a now certified coach for Vaganova method training with the Australia Conservatoire of Ballet, and runs an interstate ‘Elite Artist’ Classical Ballet Program.

She is a private technique coach and has taught nationwide workshops & masterclasses for the past 6 years. She has also adjudicated solo scholarships, competitions and dance festivals across the country. As guest speaker for organisations ‘Beautiful Mind’s’ and ‘The Halogen Foundation’, Talia has enjoyed becoming a mentor to the new generation.

Rachel Dowse

Rachel Dowse found her passion for the performing arts early.  She trained at RAW Dance Company in Brisbane and quickly moved up to company dancer and teacher.

Rachel Dowse found her passion for the performing arts early. She trained at RAW Dance Company in Brisbane and quickly moved up to company dancer and teacher. She has toured the United States of America with Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus as a dancer and aerialist and waltzed around Universal Studios Japan as Marilyn Monroe. Rachel has since performed with various shows including Coterie Cabaret, Dancing CEO’s, Broad Encounters “A Midnight Visit”, Trigger Happy Productions “Shreklesque”, Platform Creative “Ooh La La”, Che Pritchard’s “Birds of Paradise” and Opera Australia’s “CARMEN on Cockatoo Island” in Sydney. She has just finished choreographing and performing in Brisbane Performing Arts Challenge “Behind The Curtain” alongside Keith Hawley and Veronica Beattie and will be continuing to teach and create works in Brisbane and Gold Coast. Rachel’s style is recognised for her unique musicality, quirky movement and expressive performance quality.

G’s professional dance career has played as a trojan horse to the other accomplishments and career goals that lay ahead. And with a strong work ethic and a clear vision for where he wants to go, G realises, there is no finish line; only goals to reach and history to make! G is destined for some huge wins and an interesting journey.

Thomas Egan

Thomas is a choreographer, creative, and tap dance performer from Sydney Australia. He has performed with Tap Dogs (touring France, Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, China and Australia), Singing’ In The Rain, Fame The Musical, Baz Luhrmann’s ‘The Great Gatsby”, Young Peter Allen in The Boy From Oz, Oliver, Gypsy and danced for Kylie Minogue, Timomatic, X-Factor, Australia’s Got Talent, and So You Think You Can Dance.

He is a Creative on the show ‘The Tap Pack’, which has recently toured Germany and previously in the USA. The show has been nominated for two Green Room Awards, a Dance Award, a Matilda, and won a Spirt Of The Fringe Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The show has had seasons on the West End in London, Beijing, Berlin and toured extensively in Australia including the Sydney Opera House. Thomas also founded The Tap Project Australia, an initiative that mentors young tap dancers around the country.

He credits his training to Sharon Lawrence (his Mother), Barbra Lynch, Chris Horsey, Paul Davis, and the Victorian College Of The Arts. Also, to the many instructors throughout the USA training at Millennium, Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio, Movement Lifestyle, and the LA Tap Festival. He was greatly inspired to learn more over in the U.S after taking workshops at 17, in Melbourne with Jason Samuels Smith.
